Acer's 2026 Helios refresh has reached Nepali retailers, and it is the first laptop in the local market to ship with the RTX 5080 mobile. The chassis is largely carried over from last year, which is no bad thing — the cooling was already the strongest part of the design.
The dual-fan vapour chamber holds the CPU around 88°C under sustained load, which is respectable for a 175W part in a 16-inch body. Fan noise at full tilt is loud enough that headphones stop being optional.
Priced at NPR 4,49,000, it is squarely in enthusiast territory, and the RTX 5070 Ti configuration at NPR 3,49,000 is the better value for most buyers.
